The way they incorporated Mengo-sensei's side story and rearranged it was absolutely brilliant. It was a masterful move, utilizing the voice actors' talents while also providing guidance from two acting professionals! I loved the original manga, but it's great to see that the anime's scriptwriter is also skillful and trustworthy.

That being said, the only place you can see Arima Kana cooking and eating her favorite man's hair so deliciously is in the manga, so if you're new to the series through the anime, you should definitely check it out.
