Kamiki Hikaru has found no value in life other than his obsession with Ai, so he has probably become tainted by the mindset that the only absolute truth he can give to others is death. He used to teach Ai acting, but for Kamiki, that was just sharing how to lie. In Oshi no Ko, everyone is more or less fed up with "lies," and even Ai, who said "lies are love," was ultimately a "seeker of true love" who used lies as a means to make things true. For Kamiki, living is synonymous with lying, but he doesn't find any value in lies.
